About the Journal

Turkish Journal of Osteoporosis is the periodical publication of the Turkish Osteoporosis Society. It is an international, open-access journal covering osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases, published in Turkish and English, and operating in line with independent and unbiased peer-review principles. The journal is issued three times a year—in April, August, and December. The Turkish Journal of Osteoporosis aims to serve as a distinctive, consistently published periodical at the international level by disseminating original research of the highest clinical and scientific quality on osteoporosis. In addition, the journal publishes reviews (including fundamental innovations in education), editorial short communications, case reports, original images, and letters presenting experience and critique on relevant topics from the broad communities of physical medicine, rheumatology, rehabilitation, and gynecology, as well as articles on social aspects. By clearly identifying the “must-know” topics for primary care physicians, internal medicine, gynecology, rheumatology, and physical medicine & rehabilitation specialists interested in osteoporosis and bone diseases, the journal ensures these contents are organized and readily accessible within its pages.
